At last, home.
We finally caught the squirrel red-handed. Now we just have to plan a counter-attack.
This blog is created to document 61 days of a summer in Lawrence, KS. It is a town that is usually crowded with crazy KU students but once summer hits and the masses at Daisy Hill move out--things get infinitely better. The townies reemerge, the sun shines early at the Farmer's Market, and its even possible to find a seat at Wheatfield's before ten o'clock on a Sunday.
I walk without flinching through the burning cathedral of the summer. My bank of wild grass is majestic and full of music. It is a fire that solitude presses against my lips.
