This blog is created to document 61 days of a summer in Lawrence, KS. It is a town that is usually crowded with crazy KU students but once summer hits and the masses at Daisy Hill move out--things get infinitely better. The townies reemerge, the sun shines early at the Farmer's Market, and its even possible to find a seat at Wheatfield's before ten o'clock on a Sunday.
I walk without flinching through the burning cathedral of the summer. My bank of wild grass is majestic and full of music. It is a fire that solitude presses against my lips.

The End
Yes, its really been that long since my last blog. If anything it should be an indication of how fast the last month has gone by. Its been a good experience blogging this summer, even if I did slack off a bit toward the end. Thanks to all of my followers, I love you all and I hope you were at least slightly entertained by this documentation of my summer life!
