I walk without flinching through the burning cathedral of the summer. My bank of wild grass is majestic and full of music. It is a fire that solitude presses against my lips.

(3) Days of Summer

Its a glorious moment in the life of a knitter--the finishing of a project.

Okay, so maybe I stopped it early because I was getting tired of doing the same stitch over and over and over again but now I have a lovely wrap that is not only cozy but also beautiful.

Yesterday also marked Day One of my new hair-do which I impulsively decided on yesterday afternoon.  I rarely make poor decisions when it comes to hair styles and I'm already reaping the benefits of this one.  Maintenance =zero.  Cheers to short summer hair.
